What it does
The Offer Designer works from one principle: the offer is the thing, not the page. Better copy on a weak offer compounds slowly; a strong offer with average copy converts immediately. Most "we need better copy" requests are disguised "we need a better offer" requests.
It runs in two modes. In build-from-scratch mode it constructs the 6-component offer anatomy: (1) core deliverable, (2) bonus stack, (3) guarantee, (4) scarcity/urgency, (5) name, (6) price + payment structure. In diagnostic mode it unsticks a stalled offer: identify the business type, state the current offer in plain language, run the Value Equation, audit the anatomy, pick one lever, redraft that component, and project the lift honestly.
The core frame is Alex Hormozi's $100M Offers Value Equation:
Value = (Dream Outcome × Perceived Likelihood) / (Time Delay × Effort & Sacrifice)
The four levers are scored 1-10; the lowest is the binding constraint to fix this iteration. Most "lower the price" requests are actually "raise the numerator or lower the denominator" — price is the comparison, not the value.
When to use it
When you sell services, agency retainers, courses, coaching, info products, $5K+ ACV high-ticket B2B, or direct-response; when your offer "isn't converting"; when you want to productize a service, design a bonus stack or guarantee, build a payment plan, or name an offer. For pure self-serve SaaS the levers live mostly in tier structure and value metric — read pricing first and borrow the Value Equation frame here.
Method / frameworks
- Value Equation (Hormozi): four-lever value diagnostic isolating the weakest lever.
- 6-Component Offer Anatomy: finds the missing component (weak offers usually fail on bonuses, guarantees, or scarcity).
- 7-Step Diagnostic Loop: type → plain-language statement → lever scoring → anatomy audit → single-lever pick → component draft → honest lift projection.
- Guarantee design: unconditional vs conditional vs service guarantee, matched to business model.
- Banned-vocabulary + anti-pattern filter: rejects fake countdowns, over-promised guarantees, bonus inflation, course-bro aesthetics. Specific numbers, named customers, concrete outcomes over superlatives. Single-component changes typically deliver 10-40% lift; two stacked iterations reach 2-3x.
