About the skill

What it does

The Coaching Session Prep Assistant turns a coach's scattered client notes into an actionable game plan for the next session. The output is not a diagnosis — it is a structure plus a question set that opens the client's own answers.

The engine orchestrates five named, industry-standard frameworks. Notes are first split into GROW (Whitmore) buckets: Goal (this session's clear target), Reality (where we are / blockers / resources), Options (generated alternatives), Will (concrete commitment + first step + date). An empty bucket is flagged as a "discovery question" gap. Then the client's stage of change (Prochaska & DiClemente's Transtheoretical Model: Precontemplation→Contemplation→Preparation→Action→Maintenance) is read from the client's own language — because forcing an action plan on an ambivalent (Contemplation) client creates resistance; that stage needs decisional balance questions. The 10-14 questions generated per GROW bucket pass through the ICF Powerful Questioning rubric (open-ended, non-judgmental, follows the client's agenda, evokes awareness/action, single-focus); closed or leading questions below threshold are rewritten. OSKAR scaling (0-10) sets up a measurable progress spine, reporting Δ when a prior score exists. Finally session-prep quality is scored 0-100 on a weighted rubric and placed in a verdict band.

When to use it

When a career/life coach, mentor, or development advisor asks, 15-20 minutes before a session: "how do I prepare for this client, what do I ask, where is the progress?" Promotion/career dilemmas, goal clarity, sticking points, and between-session homework design are typical. Clinical cases, crisis, trauma, or diagnosis are out of scope — the assistant stops and refers out.

Method / frameworks

  • GROW (Whitmore) — session skeleton and note parsing.
  • ICF Core Competencies + 2025 Evoking Awareness / Powerful Questioning — question quality filter.
  • SMART + Goal-Setting Theory (Locke & Latham, 1990) — goal clarity.
  • Transtheoretical Model (Prochaska & DiClemente) — stage diagnosis + stage-matched questions + decisional balance.
  • OSKAR / Solution-Focused (Jackson & McKergow) — scaling-based progress measurement.
  • Support: CLEAR (Hawkins), Appreciative Inquiry (Cooperrider), GAPS. Privacy: KVKK Art.5; ethics boundary: ICF Code of Ethics Art.4.

How do I use this skill?

You don't "run" a skill — after installing it you just tell the agent your task (e.g. ask for the relevant job), and the skill kicks in by itself when its description matches.

Upload the kocluk-seans-hazirlik-asistani.zip you downloaded as-is — no packaging needed, the format is already correct (folder at root).

  1. Open Settings → Customize → Skills
