About the skill

What it does

Writes the conversion-focused copy of a page (landing, homepage, pricing, feature, about) section by section: headline, subheadline, primary CTA and body, then 2-3 alternatives plus a rationale annotation for each key element, and SEO meta title/description where relevant. Before writing it nails down four context blocks — Page Purpose (single primary action), Audience (problem + objections + customer language), Product/Offer (differentiator + concrete outcome + proof) and Traffic Context — because half of persuasive copy is the right input.

Principles are baked into the page, not stated in the abstract: clarity over cleverness, benefits over features (translate the feature into what it means for the customer), specificity over vagueness ("cut 4 hours to 15 minutes", not "save time"), customer language over company language (mirror reviews and support tickets), and one idea per section. A style pass converts passive to active, simplifies ("utilize→use"), strips exclamation points and buzzwords, and removes hype or fabricated stats.

When to use it

  • Writing a new landing or homepage from scratch.
  • Rewriting a page that feels weak or isn't converting.
  • When a headline, subheadline, value proposition, tagline or CTA is stuck.
  • When you need an ad-matched, single-message single-CTA landing.

Method / frameworks

Above-the-fold architecture (headline <8 words → specific subheadline → action+benefit CTA); headline formulas ("{outcome} without {pain}", "The {category} for {audience}"); page skeleton (Social Proof → Problem → Benefits 3-5 → How It Works → Objection Handling → Final CTA + risk reversal); persuasion frameworks PAS / AIDA / FAB; strong-CTA formula. Headline optimization alone can lift conversions 27-104%; cross-industry median landing conversion is ~6.6%.
