Shorts Virality Blueprint
An analysis tool that decodes, generates, and scores short-video (YouTube Shorts / Reels / TikTok) concepts against the Jenny Hoyos viral framework. It applies the framework distilled from the Jenny Hoyos (600M+ views/year, 95% average retention) × Jay Clouse interview and rejects the assumption that "virality is luck" — it treats virality as a measurable design problem.
It offers 4 modes:
audit_short— scores an existing script across 8 dimensions (hook visual strength, readability, foreshadow, mechanism, but-therefore density, length, last-second payoff, pacing) from 0-10 and suggests specific revisions.generate_brief— turns a rough idea into a full production brief with a hook + foreshadow + mechanism + beat sheet + closing line + retention math.score_hook— scores single-line hook candidates across the visual/readability/curiosity/specificity dimensions and picks the winner.narrow_idea_funnel— runs a list of 100+ ideas through a 5-question filter and narrows it to the top 10.
When to use it: when you want to firm up the hook, retention logic, and story structure before shooting a Short/Reel/TikTok; to weed out weak ideas; or to audit an existing draft for virality.
Output: a structured Markdown brief/audit report (score tables, beat sheet, retention math, platform adaptation). It does not produce the content itself and does not do trend detection — it designs the structure and the virality engineering.
